Benefits of Memorizing Quran

Allah has sent down the Qur’an as a source of guidance and mercy to all mankind. By reciting the Qur’an, one can obtain rewards and blessings not only in this life but also in the hereafter.
What if I were to tell you a secret yet revealed way to gain success and respect not only in this life but also in the eternal world? Memorize the Koran. It may be just a religious act to you, but in reality there are many rewards, benefits, and virtues to memorizing the Koran.
Memorizing the Quran has many rewards, benefits, and virtues in this life and the next. Qur’an memorization is a source of honor; it protects us from the fires of hell; it improves the health of our mind, soul, and body; it brings honor to our parents; and much more.

Importance of Quran Memorization

1- Memorization of the Qur’an enhances one’s status in Jannah.

On the Day of Judgment, all human beings will repent of their momentary sins. Then they will return to “dunya” again and will wish to spend every moment performing more prayers and earning rewards for the eternal world (aqeelah). Some will strive to do even one good deed to enter Paradise, while others will look with regret at those who are on a higher level than them in Paradise.
At the same time, they are expected to recite the Qur’an and raise their level of Jannah. Whoever takes to heart the highest parts of the Qur’an will reach the highest level of Paradise. There are multiple rewards for Qur’an recitation, but the reward of reaching Jannat-ul-Firdaus (the highest level of Jannah) is a boon that all Muslims aspire for.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said
To those who have memorized the Qur’an, it is said: “Recite it, stand up and recite it as you recite in this world. Indeed, your rank will be the rank of the last ayah you recited.

2- The Highest Rank and Reward for Parents

When these two parents received the highest rank and reward, more precious and valuable than anything else in the world, they were astonished and asked: There is no such thing that we know of. Teach your son the Qur’an and advise him with patience and sincerity. Thus, the owner of the Qur’an is one of the most faithful to his parents.
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said
Those who recite the Qur’an, study it, and act upon it will be adorned with a crown of light on the Day of Judgment, and their radiance will be like the radiance of the sun. Their parents will be adorned with two jewels which the world can never contain. For your children have put on the Qur’an. And it will be said, “If you have not memorized the Koran, you will not be able to do so.
Memorization of the Koran is the greatest gift a parent can give a child. It is the greatest gift a child can give his parents. Hafiz parents will be given a special honor on the Day of Judgment. Memorization of the Quran honors parents. The child of a Qur’anic Hafiz becomes a Sadaqah Jariyah (permanent alms) to his parents. He becomes a source of shafaa’ah (intercession) for his family.
Do not miss the opportunity to earn such a great reward in heaven.

3- Memorization of the Koran is a source of honor.

There is no one who does not want to gain the ultimate honor, whether in this life or the next.
Memorization of the Qur’an is the ultimate reward in this world and the next. Those who adore their hearts and lives by the Qur’an will be adorned with a crown of honor on the Day of Judgment.
Memorize the Qur’an and impose it on your life. The Qur’an will remain in Hafaz’s heart forever, even after death. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said
Praise be to Allah. It is to honor the just ruler, not the gray-haired Muslim or the one who can preach the Qur’an. Nor is it to honor those who abuse the Qur’an or turn away from it.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said
Whoever memorizes the Qur’an will come to the Day of Judgment and say, “My Lord! Adorn him.” He will say, “O my Lord! He will say, “O my Lord! Then he will be adorned with a noble crown. He will say: “My Lord! Then he will be adorned with a noble crown. Then he will be adorned with a noble crown. And he will be clothed with a noble robe. And say. Let him rejoice. Then the Lord will say, “He will be pleased with him.” And rise up reciting it.” “Increase His reward with every praise.”

4- Memorizing the Qur’an protects you from the fires of Hell.

Memorizing the Qur’an protects you from the fires of Hell. It keeps you connected to Allah and the Qur’an throughout your life. It protects you from evil deeds and shaitan.
The Qur’an is an accurate guide. The Qur’an supports and protects those who memorize it and pay homage to it.
The Messenger of Allah (s a w) said: “Read the Qur’an,
Read the Qur’an. This is because the Qur’an will be the intercessor of its readers on the Day of Resurrection.

5- Hifz Quran improves the mind, body and soul.

Qur’an memorization improves the health of the mind, body, and soul. The Qur’an gives peace to a depressed soul and health to the body and spirit. It has been observed that Qur’an memorization improves concentration and learning ability. It enhances one’s overall capabilities.
O man, from your Lord, guidance and a cure for the diseases of the heart are given. (Qur’an 10:57).
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said
Whoever does not have the Qur’an in his heart is like a ruin.

6- Raising the Status in Jannah

We all desire to attain a higher status, especially on the Day of Judgment. On that day, the light of the Qur’an will deliver the “Khaleesi” from darkness and lead them to the light, ultimately raising their ranks.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said
Those who were devoted to the Koran will be told (on the Day of Resurrection): “Your rank is the last of those who recite the Qur’an. Your rank will be the last verse you recite.”

7- One of the most excellent in the sight of Allah.

To be the most excellent today is to be the most excellent in the favors of this world. But the believers know that those who are faithful in their faith are the most excellent. The Beloved Prophet (S.A.W.) said: “The best among you are those who are the best among you:
The best of you is he who learns the Qur’an and teaches it.

8- Memorizing the Qur’an guarantees the highest rank.

The Qur’an is the only book that gives the secret of success in life and the Hereafter. The Qur’an is the only book that gives the secret of success in life and in the Hereafter. Allah says in the Qur’an in Fathir (verses 29-30)
Indeed, those who recite the Book of God and observe the duties of worship and spend from that which We have bestowed on them, secretly, openly, and charitably, desire a blessed transaction that will never be ruined. Indeed, He is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.
Memorize the Qur’an. Then you will be in the shade of the Throne of Allah. The heat and the adversity of the Day of Judgment are invisible to all. It will be a time when people will be barefooted under the inverse heat of the sun and drowned in their own sweat. But some will be given the shade of the Throne of the Almighty.
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said:
“And from among them I mentioned “a young man who grew up worshipping Allah.”
The Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) said:
Whoever memorizes the Qur’an will come to the Day of Judgment and say: “My Lord! O my Lord, adorn him. O my Lord, adorn him. He will say: “My Lord! Let him rejoice. Then He will be pleased with him and will say: “O Lord!

9- Memorizing the Koran helps us live a purposeful life.

On the Day of Judgment, we will be held accountable for every moment of our lives. Memorizing the Koran not only enables us to invest our time in the right way, but it also enables us to utilize our time with an increased degree of good deeds.
Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ) said:
Youth is better than old age, wealth is better than sickness, riches are better than poverty, free time is better than preoccupation, and life is better than death.

The Messenger of Allah (s a w) said: “The Messenger of Allah (s a w) is called the Messenger of Allah (s a w).
The Messenger of Allah (s a w) said: “The Messenger of Allah (s a w) is called the Messenger of Allah (s a w). There are angels who roam the streets looking for those who mention Allah. When they find one who mentions Allah, they call out to one another. ‘Come to the one whom you are pursuing. Then the angels spread their wings toward the sky of the world and surround them. [Al-Bukhari]
In the house where the Koran is recited, the angels accompany it and the devils go out. In the house where the Koran is not recited, the demons will live with it and the angels will leave. It will be smaller for those who dwell there, and their good will be less.”

The Last Word

These are the last words of the Qur’an. A Muslim who memorizes the Qur’an is called a follower of Allah and Islam because he carries the Book of Allah, follows its precepts, and teaches everyone.
Memorizing the Qur’an opens the door to all good things for you. Memorizing the Qur’an means getting 10 good deeds for every letter.
When you decide to memorize the Qur’an, you will never be bored, worried, stressed, or afraid. The Qur’an will remove worry, sadness, and the accumulation of the past, and you will be reborn.
When asked about the ethics of the Prophet (s.a.w.s.), Ayesha (s.a.w.s.) said.
